La Mancha broadens varietal range for current harvest

DO La Mancha has revised its Production Norms in order to endorse wines made from the grape varieties included in the vineyard reengineering planes carried out in recent years by the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Government. According to figures supplied to the Regulating Council by DO Rueda’s bodegas, in 2008, the appellation sold a total of 41,134,682 75cl bottles of which 7,972,291 were sold on foreign markets.
